We recommend to arrive in Córdoba on Sunday in order to participate in this event.

Money exchange. The Argentinian peso is now stable and currently it is 1 U$D = 3.15 pesos, and 1 euro = 4.50 pesos.

Taxi. The international airport in the city of Córdoba is about 13km from downtown, and a taxi costs 25 or 30 pesos.

FaMAF (in Ciudad Universitaria) There is a 25 minute walk from Ducal Suites Hotel to FaMAF. The taxi fare from downtown to FaMAF is about 6 pesos. The public bus ticket costs 1.20 pesos but you need to buy a special coin (`cospel') before getting on the bus. We expect that the participants will not need to take buses in the city.

Flights. There are not many flights arriving at Córdoba International Airport (less than 20 per day). There is only one flight arriving from Santiago de Chile, operated by LAN CHILE, which is usually more convenient than flying via Buenos Aires, since this last option involves a change of airport in Buenos Aires.

Weather. In November, it is still spring in Argentina, the summer is arriving. The weather in Córdoba is Mediterranean. The days are warm and it gets cool in the evening. It is never too warm in the hills. Some links: weather in Córdoba; www.infoclima.com
