Change of money, credit and debit cards

Credit and debit cards are very usual in Argentina and you might be able to take Argentinian pesos out of an ATM. Also, it is better to bring euros or US dollars rather than to buy pesos abroad.
You may change your money at Banco Nación, there is an office at Ezeiza Airport and an ATM at Córdoba Airport.

Change of money is not available at Hotel del Lago. The closest banks --only to change american dollars or euros-- are at La Falda, 2.5 kms from the hotel. Bank schedules are from 8 am to 1 pm.

The hotel accepts Argentinian pesos, US dollars or euros (the change is given in Argentinian pesos) but neither credit nor debit cards.

Note that it is rather difficult to exchange foreign currency other than dollar or euro.

If it is the case that you are using the beamer, it would be very helpful if you could send a pdf file of the talk in advance.

Hotel Rooms

You will find here the distribution of the rooms.

Phone calls

The rooms are provided with a telephone and you may receive calls there; the number of the room is the number of the extension. However, you may not call from the room.
For external and long distance calls, the hotel provides two kind of services. One through a public phone that can be used with cards sold at the main desk. The inconvenience of the system is that the cards are used up very fast and one might have to use many of them for a long call. The other system is through the main desk. It is slightly more expensive but in some cases might be more convenient. Prices are posted at the announcement board.

The cheapest way for international calls might be to go to La Falda and call from a phone company booth.
