About me

My name is Pedro Pérez, I did my degree and Ph.D. in physics at the National University of Córdoba (UNC) within 2003 and 2013. Currently, I am an Assistant Researcher at IFEG-CONICET and Adjunct Professor at FAMAF-UNC.

I am mainly dedicated to research and development in applied physics in the medical field. I study the use of ionizing radiation and its applications both for diagnosis and treatment. I'm very interested in the areas of radiological imaging (medical and industrial applications) and the development of computational tools for dosimetry in nuclear medicine. My latest scientific articles will be published in the articles section.

I'm also dedicated to teaching at university. Occasionally, the material that I prepare for my lessons will be housed in the teaching section. Besides, I'm engaging in and leading some research projects with my colleagues from the LIIFAMIRx research group.

If you are interested in any of these topics, do not hesitate to contact me or visit my personal section at the lab webpage.
